About

Isaiah Morfin, also known as Izzy, is a singer/songwriter, saxophonist, pianist/synthist and arranger. He carries a strong jazz background and is the protégé of late, great jazz saxophonist Jeff Clayton. He has received his Bachelors of Music from the Berklee College of Music. He has recorded his own music with a variety of high caliber musicians. Legends such as drummer and percussionist Danny Frankel (She & Him, M83, Lou Reed), guitarist Davin Givahn (Lauryn Hill), and multi-instrumentalist John Clement Wood (The Black Keys) have been featured on his projects. 

 

He released his debut album “Mirrorball” from Big Ego studios produced and mixed by Chris Schlarb in April 2022. He has  been a featured guest as a saxophonist on albums by Psychic Temple (and Hate Drugs (“Tsunami Soul I and II”) and, synths on Guma (“A list of Sightings”) and has done songwriting work for the band Dual Citizen (“Rain Forest Pop) and has released a collaborative EP with Junatime called “Champagne and Blue Skies”
